Just finished watching the 2 series' of Life On Mars this weekend. Once I got past seeing the gorgeous John Simm as "The Master", I was able to totally immerse myself in this show. I have to say that JS was brilliant as Sam Tyler, and Philip Glenister was hysterical as Gene Hunt.
Even though I sort of knew or suspected how it would end, I am still a bit heart-broken. Sixteen episodes went way too fast. John Simm was so fabulous to watch~smart, funny, sexy. I am at a loss as to what to do next. I think I will try to find the first series of Ashes to Ashes, and give it a try. But I suspect I will find it lacking without Sam.
